Future Farming Resilience Fund

Following on from the Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) announcement, of the Agricultural Transition and the phasing out of subsidy payments to landowners and land managers. As a result DEFRA have offered support to business who are in receipt of the Basic Payment scheme (BPS) to help adjust to the transition. Part of this support has come in the formation of the Future Farming Resilience Fund (FFRF).

As part of the FFRF, Wilson Wraight will be supplying a tailored one to one package of support funded by DEFRA.  this will help you understand the changes  and identify how, what and when you may need to adapt your business model. This phase of FFRF was launched on October 3rd 2022 and will run through to March 2025.

Our experienced team of agricultural consultants are here to help you understand how these changes will affect your business and plan for the future.

The business review will consist of:

  • Pre visit questionnaire
  • On-farm meeting, enabling you to ask questions and for the consultant to get a better understanding of you and the business
  • Report, this will be a structured, concise report focusing on the current business strategy and recommendations for the future
  • Follow up session
