Tendring District Council are preparing their new Local Plan and inviting interested parties to comment on the emerging proposals. The ‘Preferred Options’ consultation runs for just over six weeks to Monday 23 March 2026.

The consultation sets out the Council’s preferred policy approaches and the sites proposed for future residential, employment, and mixed-use development.

Alternative sites are also welcome for future residential, employment, and mixed-use development.
