Rosie Thornton
Consultant
Rosie is one of our Harper Adams University placement students with us until summer 2024.
Rosie is currently studying BSc (Hons) Agriculture with Farm Business Management at Harper Adams University. She has always lived in Norfolk and grew up on the family farm, which is where they have been for three generations. For a long time, they were an intensive arable farm but have converted to a far more extensive system in recent years. They placed much of their land in a mid-tier stewardship scheme and started their own herd of Belted Galloway cattle.
She has worked on a variety of farms from dairy, intensive arable to sheep, which has given her a breadth of experience which she uses in her studies at Harper Adams. Rosie hopes to also utilise this during her time here at Wilson Wraight. She has been inspired by her father’s work and studies at Harper Adams and was delighted to be offered a placement position with Wilson Wraight so that she can further explore her passion for the agricultural industry in a new light.
Rosie is looking forward to working during such an interesting time for the agricultural industry and cannot wait to see where her year at Wilson Wraight takes her, from helping clients tackle new challenges to seizing the new opportunities that the industry is constantly delivering.
