Wilson Wraight launches young farmer mentor programme
Understanding of the worries that the reforms to Agricultural Property Relief and Business Property Relief have had on inheritance tax, we are committed to supporting a shift in farming operations to the younger generations.
This is why we are launching our young farmer mentor programme. An annual competition directed at the younger generation in the farming industry to provide a years free advice helping them to shape their business.
With a wide range of services available at Wilson Wraight from planning, environmental services and agricultural business consultancy we are well placed to help with any farming business needs.
Who’s eligible?
Anyone under 35 and is looking to expand, diversify or start up a farming business.
How to enter
To apply to be considered for the young farmer mentor programme we’ve set out three questions to be answered:
- Tell us about yourself and your current business.
- What are your hopes for the business for the next 5 years?
- How will the advice from Wilson Wraight benefit you?
Please record your answer to question 1, as a video so we can get to know you better and send this and your written answers to question 2 & 3 to advice@wilsonwraight.co.uk
The application window will close on the 6th of October where we will shortlist applications. Those that make it onto the shortlist will then be asked to attend a short interview.
The winner will be announced on the 1st week of November.
