Basic Payment Scheme 2020
In advance of the Basic Payment Scheme application window opening on Thursday 12 March 2020 all businesses should take steps to make sure they are ready as follows:
- Log in to the Rural Payments service https://www.ruralpayments.service.gov.uk/ You may need to reset your password if you have not accessed the system since last year. New applicants will need to register and verify their identity.
- Ensure your personal and business details are up to date to confirm that correspondence is going to the correct address.
- Check you have the correct permission levels set to ensure you can make the claim.
- Revisit the land section and check that your field maps are accurate. RLE1 forms should be submitted (by post only) for amendments as soon as possible so changes can be made prior to submission of your claim.
If you applied online in 2019, you should receive an email inviting you to apply for 2020. If you applied on paper in 2019, you should receive a paper form.
